天皇陛下御在位六十年十万円記念貨幣:As6022014
This gold coin was issued in 1986 (Shōwa 61) to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Emperor Shōwa’s accession to the throne. It is Japan’s first-ever commemorative gold coin and, as the first gold coin issued after World War II, holds tremendous historical value.
The obverse of this coin features a dove—a symbol of peace—and water, while the reverse bears the Chrysanthemum Emblem.
